Kia ora koutou,
Here's a few shots from over the weekend. It seams that the early bird still catches the worm. It's interesting because I've bypassed this spot in favour of a viewpoint further up the coast many times before. This is because a photogenic Pohutakawa that used to add interest to the foreground fell over in a storm back around 2014, and well, the scene now looks a bit ratty. Fortunately for me I stopped on the way back from a recent shoot and was pleasently surprised enough to take a few shots. Now, this got me thinking... if this looks good at 9am, it could be an epic shot at dawn/sunrise. So the next morning I was up at 5:30am and off I went...
